Mindfulness Workshop

Description

Moving into the fall with hopes that the pandemic will soon subside, the Beth C. Wright Cancer Resource Center presents “Re-emerging from the Pandemic with Intention.” Jen Harry leads this workshop with a new look at how to be intentional about returning to post-pandemic life and how to choose what to bring forward and what to leave behind. As restrictions are lifted there is a big push to “return to normal”. The question is, did your pre-pandemic “normal” include a go, go, go mentality of overwhelming busyness, accompanied by lots of stress and anxiety, with little downtime for the things you love? And is that what you choose moving forward? This workshop offers a guided reflection on lessons learned during the pandemic and how to be intentional about re-emerging, rather than just rushing back to old habits. Learn some tools and tips to mindfully move on to post-pandemic life and create a “new normal” that really supports your entire well-being.

Jen Harry studied Psychology at Penn State as an undergraduate and has worked in the mental health field in various capacities over the past 20 years.
