2022 Annual Appeal

The Beth C. Wright Cancer Resource Center’s Annual Fund represents the pinnacle of our year-long fundraising efforts to provide flexible, immediate-use dollars enabling us to provide continual support to those affected by cancer in our community.

While all gifts help us serve our communities, we encourage unrestricted gifts and gifts designated to support any of our focus areas, as they significantly boost organizational sustainability, and allow us to meet critical cancer related health needs across the counties we serve. As a 501c3 non-profit, the Beth Wright Cancer Center is significantly grant-funded, and the partnership of these funders is integral to our work. Contributions from community members like you have a unique and particularly important role in our work: where grants end, community support sustains much needed programming and services. When needs arise outside of the confines of grant deliverables, community support ensures that we can also adapt to meet the cancer needs of our region.

Why Give:
Chances are we’ve recently cared for you or someone you know: a neighbor, a co-worker, a loved one or family member. We believe that every person who receives a cancer diagnosis deserves the very best care and help navigating the social service systems and community resources to access appropriate diagnostic, treatment, recovery, support, and financial services. Our promise is to be there for you and your loved ones, but we can’t do it without support. When you give to the Beth Wright Cancer Center, you’re investing in a healthier community by:

  • Giving a cancer patient a chance at life
  • Supporting your local community where your money can make the biggest difference
  • Ensuring that critical programs and services are available to all who need them
  • Bringing comfort to someone’s mother, brother, or friend
  • Helping your community prepare for the needs of cancer patients, and their needs of the future
  • Improving the cancer world, one gift at a time

There’s no greater gift you can give than the gift of health, and by supporting the Beth C. Wright Cancer Resource Center, you’re helping us help sustain and grow community cancer programming to help improve quality of life for patients, families, and friends in the midst of a cancer diagnosis, treatment and/or remission.

Because of kind donors like you, we can ensure cancer patients and their families have access to free support, advice, resources, services, and information. Your generosity and support help make Beth’s legacy possible and make her vision a continued reality for residents of Washington and Hancock County.
